Tarek Hashem Al-Nabulsi

Tarek Alnabulsi is a member of the board of directors for REC Engineering & Consulting. With a wealth of knowledge gained from his 35 years as Strategy Officer for a prominent conglomerate group in the Middle East, Mr. Alnabulsi plays a critical role in overseeing high-level operations and supporting the company’s growth. As a board member, he also focuses on improving services and maintaining a positive reputation for the firm.

Mr. Alnabulsi held positions as a Strategy Coordinator at SEDCO Holding, a leading Saudi conglomerate with a global portfolio in Healthcare, Real Estate, Financial Investment, Retail and Hospitality sectors. He worked closely with the board to develop the corporate strategy and ensure alignment with the competitive strategies of individual business groups. In addition, he served as an interim CEO at Elaf Group where he successfully turned the company around from loss to profit and established it as an industry leader in travel, tourism and hotels. As part of this transformation, he restructured the management team and optimized the product and service mix by evaluating target markets and eliminating unprofitable lines of business. He then developed and implemented a strategic roadmap that restored profitability within just 12 months. Mr. Alnabulsi played a crucial role in improving the operational system of the company, delegating projects to team members and overseeing tasks to ensure operational excellence. He also held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Methak Investment Holding Co., where he established the formal structure, governance, and investment strategy for their multibillion-dollar single family office. Additionally, he spearheaded investments in real estate, equities, and other businesses both in Saudi Arabia and globally. In his current roles as founder and co-founder of ISG and Aster Global Partners (AGP), Mr. Alnabulsi has merged ISG with other professional services firms to offer a diverse range of services to clients worldwide. Through these ventures, he advises business families and leaders of family enterprises on effectively managing complex and sensitive issues related to family, business, ownership, and finance.

Tarek Alnabulsi has a diverse educational background, with a bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah and a Master of Science Degree in MIS from the George Washington University, Washington DC, USA. He has also participated in multiple executive training programs, including those at Harvard Business School and MIT Sloan Business School. In addition, he holds a valid Management Consultancy license in Saudi Arabia and is a member of the UK-based Institute of Directors (IoD).
